Welcome to a new post from RedBox Inmobiliaria in which we will talk about sustainable housing and its benefits.
At present, sustainable housing is gaining great importance, settling in the Climate Summit in Madrid (COP25) new bases for the construction of sustainable housing.
A sustainable home is all that is built respecting natural spaces, thermally insulated and able to take advantage of natural energies such as solar through plates.
Mainly we can find two benefits, first of all the economic one since according to the IDAE (Institute for the Diversification and Saving of Energy), the high energy consumption in a house has a direct relationship with the economy of the family. A good design of the property can allow us to save up to 70% in air conditioning and home lighting.
The second positive reason is related to ecology, which allows greater social development with a lower environmental impact which will allow us in the future greater savings, comfort and quality of life.
Although the future is hopeful for this type of housing, the current panorama in Spain is totally opposite because the building stock is old and needs a rehabilitation and energy reform since in its day when the buildings were built they did not have to comply with minimum levels of thermal insulation.
